Donate to families of veterans this Independence Day

Posted: Updated:

Southeast Texas firework stands are coming together this July 4th to help the families of our fallen heroes.

Through the Folds of Honor fireworks campaign, Southeast Texas can give back to those who gave their all.

By purchasing a Folds of Honor fireworks case, you will support children of fallen and injured veterans by providing scholarships.

Roy Callais, owner of Cardinal Fireworks in Orange County, says families of the fallen are sometimes left behind.

"I always thought that the government will be there for whatever they need. But, the money's just not there. The government can't do that," says Callais.

The Folds of Honor fireworks shoot red, white and blue sparks into the night sky and will provide hope and healing to families of those who served.

"That's why we're able today, to sell these fireworks, because of our veterans who gave us our independence," says Callais.
