Man punched, threatened with knife in aggravated robbery

Port Arthur police questioned a possible suspect, but have not yet made an arrest after a man was assaulted and threatened with a knife by a robber who took the victim's truck.

A statement issued by the Port Arthur Police Department Monday morning said it happened in the parking lot of the Gulfway Market located at 3892 Gulfway Drive.

A witness saw the suspect hit the victim twice and threaten him with the knife before driving away in the truck.

Officers found the truck parked in the 2400 block of Gulfway Drive.  They questioned a possible suspect and released him.

The robbery remains under investigation.
