Auto burglary an increasing problem in Orange County

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating several vehicle burglaries in neighborhoods throughout Orange County.

Orange County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Chad Hogan says most of the burglaries have happened on vehicles with unlocked doors.

Sgt. Hogan says investigators are asking for your help with any information on suspicious people or activity in Orange County neighborhoods.

"If you see a suspicious vehicle or someone in your neighborhood that looks out of place, please contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office. If you can safely obtain a license plate number from any suspicious vehicles please do so," said Hogan.

The 24-hour phone number of the Orange County Sheriff's Office is 409-883-2612.
