Victims held at gunpoint in Port Arthur home invasion


Port Arthur police are looking for the men responsible for a home invasion robbery that happened just after 10 p.m. Thursday.

According to a news release issued by the Port Arthur Police Department, the robbery happened at a home located at 2418 15th Street.

The victims told police at least two gunmen forced their way into the home.  The men were wearing masks.  One of the robbers held the victims at gunpoint while the other rummaged through the house looking for things to take. 

A Port Arthur Police Department spokesperson said it appears that after the robbers ran from the house they got into a waiting vehicle.

The home invasion is being investigated by the Port Arthur Police Department's Criminal Investigations Divisions.  Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call (409) 983-8600.
