Beaumont police officers arrested a man in connection with an alleged 'hammer' attack that took place on Tulane Street in north Beaumont Monday morning.
Officers were called to a home on Tulane around 8:30 a.m. on an assault call. Police were told a man came to his ex-girlfriend's house and the two got into an argument with her.
