Truck Carrying Mobile Home Stalls Traffic on I-35 Southbound - 12 News KBMT and K-JAC. News, Weather and Sports for SE Texas

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The semi has been moved off the highway and traffic is slowly resuming to normal.
But now, TxDOT is now reporting an accident involving three semi trucks about a half mile from Moonlight Drive on the highway.

(KCEN) -- Traffic is backed up for about two miles on I-35 southbound near the Moonlight Drive exit because of a semi carrying a mobile home.
Apparently the load was too big to pass under the Moonlight Drive crossing, and the rig stopped.
Traffic is backed up just past Industrial Drive. Flaggers are working now to divert traffic onto the southbound access road, but the main lanes are moving slowly.
Authorities are trying to get the truck off the road, but at this time, there is no estimate on when it will be cleared.
Anyone driving in this area is advised to take alternate routes.
