(KCEN) -- After 80-years the US 281 Bridge in Marble Falls is no more.
Dozens of spectators and city officials gathered to watch the implosion.
But one thing that wasn't planned a communication meltdown.
The explosion knocked out cell phones in the surrounding area.
The blast also knocked out 911 call centers in Marble Falls, Burnet and Llano.
