Chilly Tonight, sunny and warm Wednesday

Another chilly night is expected across Southeast Texas with lows ranging from near 40 to the lower 40s in the Triangle to the upper 30s in the Lakes Area.

Super weather Wednesday with sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.

A repeat performance is expected Thursday.

Friday begins a big warm up and over the course of this weekend, we could see our warmest weather so far this year with highs in the middle 70s.

Dry weather is expected through Saturday with slight chances returning Sunday and Monday. A better chance of rain is expected early Tuesday as a cold front marches through Southeast Texas.

Short-term Forecast 

Triangle Tonight:  Clear and chilly.  Low near: 40 in Beaumont, 39 in Orange, and 43 in Port Arthur.  Winds: Variable becoming Northeast 2-7 mph becoming Calm.

Triangle Wednesday:  Sunny, warm and dry.  High near: 69 in Beaumont, 67 in Orange, and 69 in Port Arthur.  Winds: Northeast 5-14 mph.

Lakes Tonight:  Clear and chilly.  Low near: 38.  Winds: Northeast 2-5 mph becoming Calm.

Lakes Wednesday:  Sunny, warm and dry.  High near: 68.  Winds: North to Northeast 3-10 mph becoming Variable.

Thursday:  Sunny and warm.  Low near: 39.  High near: 68.  Winds: East turning South 5-14 mph.

Friday:  Mostly sunny, warmer.  Low near: 47.  High near: 73.  Winds: South-Southwest 6-18 mph.

Saturday:  Morning cloudiness becoming mostly sunny during the afternoon, warm & breezy.  Low near: 56.  High near: 75.  Winds: South-Southwest 6-22 mph.

Sunday:  Partly sunny, warm and breezy with a 20% coverage of light rain.  Low near: 63.  High near: 77.  Winds: South 8-26 mph.

Monday:  Partly sunny, warm, humid, breezy with a 20% coverage of showers.  Low near: 65.  High near: 76.  Winds: South-Southwest 5-18 mph.

Tuesday:  Mostly cloudy with a 30% coverage of rain, decreasing afternoon cloudiness and cooler.  Low near: 60.  High near: 68.  Winds: Northeast 10-18 mph.
