Deputies seek fugitive considered armed and dangerous

The Jefferson County Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help in finding a fugitive who is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say 25-year-old Dustin Keith Jones, also known as Eillis Tatum, is wanted for sexual assault of a child, aggravated assault and aggravated robbery. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Deputies say his last known address is in the 4000 Block of Maida Road in Beaumont but is believed to be hiding in the area of Broussard and Tram Rd in Beaumont.

Anyone with information should call 911 or call 833-TIPS. Up to $1,000 may be awarded to someone with information that leads to the arrest of Jones.
