BEAUMONT -

Police officers in Beaumont have arrested a man who was listed on the police department's most wanted list.

Members of the U.S. Marshall's Service, Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Beaumont Police Department and Port Arthur Police Department, arrested George Broussard, 23, around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 6195 N Major #901, Lexington on the Lake.

A Crime Stopper tip led officers to the apartment and Broussard's arrest.

A statement issued by police says a 25-year-old female was also arrested for harboring a fugitive.

Broussard is charged with aggravated robbery, deadly conduct and manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance.

252nd District Court Judge Layne Walker set Broussard's bond at $1.5 Million.
