Man taken by air ambulance following Orange auto-pedestrian accident

A 30-year-old man was taken to Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth in Beaumont Tuesday night after being hit while walking in a parking lot in Orange.

The hit-and-run happened before 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 8th Street in Orange. This is in front of the Orange Police station..

Police on scene tell 12 news the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

12News called for an update on this story Wednesday morning. A police spokesperson was not immediately available.
