Posted: Updated:

For most regular mail deliveries, Saturday service is out.

The U.S. Postal Service says only packages will be delivered on Saturdays after August 1st. First class mail will have to wait until Monday.

The postal service expects the change to result in a national savings of a $2 Billion dollars annually.

The service says the change is needed to bring it out of debt and back to financial stability.
