Police Find, Arrest Suspect in Bell County Shooting Case

(KCEN) -- There is an update today on a shooting in Bell County.

After searching most of the night, police arrested 19-year-old Keegan Michael Chrisner.

It was just after 7:30 last night when police received a 9-1-1 call of a shooting.

Deputies were told a man had shot himself inside a home, then jumped out of a window and ran to a remote location near Moody.

Later, the suspect, Chrisner who was hiding in the woods behind his house, returned home and was arrested.

Bell County Sheriff's found no one shot, but Chrisner was arrested for injury to an elderly person.

Sheriffs say Chrisner hit his grandfather during a domestic disturbance.

Chrisner faces felony charges. His case is being reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney's office.
