Cambridge Who’s Who physician weaves together a philosophy, a story, and a tribute.

North Las Vegas, Nev. (PRWEB) January 27, 2013

Doctor Kris A. Hanchett, a member in good standing of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Cambridge Who's Who®, publishes a life-changing work of fiction based on real-life patients and personnel in the medical field, titled Instant Infinity. Hanchett’s book carries within its pages a noble three-fold mission: to help people, to entertain, and to pay tribute.

“The original goal was an effort to help people, you, understand the nature of circumstance and the central role that we all play in it,” says Hanchett. “From years of observation I have come to believe that we are not victims of circumstance, but rather the creators of it.” Throughout his book, he harps on one all-important philosophy: All experiences have value and our perspective on them is a vital determinant of our physical and mental health.

As an inspirational fiction, Hanchett’s book takes readers through a series of events as seen through the eyes of 12-year-old Rose Barbera Kirk, as she follows her physician father around in his clinic during the week of her school assignment. Each event brings readers closer to understanding how Hanchett’s philosophy seems to work. This reflects his second goal of which he said, “My second of three goals was to entertain you, the reader. Learning, indeed life itself, is fun or at least it can be depending on how we look at it. So let’s have some fun.”

Brilliantly crafted while preserving patient privacy, Hanchett breathes life to a composite character—“super patient,” as he calls it—with common medical ailments so people can easily relate with. The names of some patients and the medical staff are real, but their characters are embellished to keep their identities in a way that readers feel they know them or someone like them, making them realize Instant Infinity is everyone’s story.

“My third and final goal was more of a personal nature. I wished to honor all the people who have been influential in helping me to become who, and what, I am,” discloses Hanchett, as to why he keeps it very real.
