Body of Nederland native killed in Algeria returning home Saturday

The body of Nederland native Victor Lovelady, who was one of dozens killed in the hostage crisis in Algeria last week, is coming home.

Victor's brother Mike Lovelady tells 12 News that Victor's body is scheduled to arrive at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The body will be taken back to Nederland by the director of Melancon's Funeral Home.

Visitation services will be held Monday, January 28th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29th at 11 a.m. at St. Charles as well. There will be no graveside services.
