Reported Pedestrian Accident Backs Up Traffic on I-35 in Waco

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The auto/pedestrian accident on I-35 northbound near exit 336 has been cleared.

TXDot says traffic is still backed up past the South Loop 340 exit but is starting to clear.

(KCEN) -- Traffic is backed up for miles on I-35 northbound in Waco.

According to TxDot, an auto/pedestrian accident near the Forrest Street exit, exit 336, has traffic backed up for a little more than five miles to the South Loop 340/ Highway 6 exit.

There is no estimate on how long it will take to clear the scene at this time.  

TxDot is advising drivers to take alternate routes if possible.
