
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott Wednesday night praised area Republicans at the Annual Lincoln- Reagan dinner,. He also praised the Kountze Cheerleaders.
Abbott who has sued the federal government 24 times in the past three years of the Obama administration, promised to continue the fight in pending suits.
He was also sharply critical of what he called religious intolerance in America, and promised continued support for the Kountze cheerleaders as they fight in court to use their football game run- through banners with biblical messages.
A trial is set for June 24 to decide whether the cheerleaders can continue to use the banners.
Abbott also vowed to oppose infringements on 2nd amendment gun rights.
"What amendment will the federal government go after next," said Abbott.
