Vidor police release surveillance images of bank robbery

Vidor police have released images taken during a robbery at the Mid South Bank located at 1384 North Main St. in Vidor.

The robbery was reported around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say the robber handed a teller a note demanding only hundred dollar bills. The teller complied, counting the bills for the robber before he grabbed the cash and ran out the door.

The robber was wearing a dark coat with a hoodie, blue jeans, dark colored shoes and a dark colored baseball cap, possibly a Texas Tech cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Vidor Police Department at 409-769-4561.
