Man in critical condition following Port Arthur home invasion

Port Arthur Police are looking for three men who terrorized a man and woman during a home invasion robbery early Monday morning.

A statement from the Port Arthur Police Department says the robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. at an apartment in the 4300 block of Turtle Creek Drive.  The victims told police three men wearing masks forced their way into the apartment and made the man and woman get on the floor.  The robbers began demanding money from the victims and began tearing up the apartment.

During the robbery one of the robbers began firing shots at the male victim.  The victim, identified by police as a 31-years-old male, sustained several gunshot wounds.  He was taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth where he is listed in critical condition.

Officers say the robbers remain at large.
