Falling trees damage homes Christmas morning

Posted: Updated:

Two homes in Vidor were crushed under the weight of trees that fell on their rooftops Christmas Day.

Storms moving through southeast Texas caused the large trees to topple.

A home in the 200 block of Sergeant Street (pictured) was heavily damaged by the falling tree with rubble and pieces of tree trunk covering the floor inside the home.

No injuries were reported.
