Beaumont police say they have found the man wanted for two robberies involving a weapon.

Officers arrested 47-year-old Ronald Lee Young, Sr., of Beaumont around noon Friday in the 3000 block of French Road.

Police say Young robbed two separate women with a gun on two different occasions. The first was on November 15 in the parking lot of Target in Beaumont. The second was in the parking garage at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth on November 28. On both occasions, police say Young struggled with the women for their purses and then shot a gun into the ground.

He is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, a felony.
