Arraignment, bond set for suspect in double homicide

The man accused of killing 2 people was arraigned Saturday and the bond has been set for $1 million.

A man is in the Orange County jail charged with capital murder after a Vidor couple was found shot to death in their home.

Deputies say 26-year-old Curtis Allen Garrison was arrested at a home in the Mauriceville area Friday. He remains in jail and is being held without bond.

According to a press release issued by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, they received a report of gunfire at about 3 Friday afternoon in the area of Woodside Drive in north Vidor.

Deputies arrived to find 34-year-old Aaron Conn and his wife 30-year-old Summer Conn dead from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the Jefferson County Morgue for autopsies.

No word on motive for the shooting.
