Injured people from Thanksgiving morning's multiple-vehicle pileup on Interstate 10 have been taken to four hospitals in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area and at least one person was taken to Baytown.

The Texas Department of Transportation at 1:15 p.m. issued the following update:
I-10: All westbound lanes now OPEN near Hamshire Road. Eastbound remains closed. Use SH 73 as alternate.
