LB Cody Casey of the East Chambers Buccaneers, who leads the team in tackles and has been a defensive force all season, has been named the Wendy's 12 Star Athlete of the Week.
Casey played last year for state 4a semi-finalist Pearland Dawson and led them in tackles as a sophomore.
