The search for more answers in a West Orange Credit Union robbery that happened in September is ongoing. A dive team went looking for evidence Saturday in the marshes off highway 87, just north of the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Orange County.
Lieutenant John Tarver of the West Orange Police Department says officers got a tip that evidence related to the September 6th robbery of the Firestone Credit union may be in the marshes.
Last week Justin Mink, 26, who is being held in the Orange County jail on unrelated charges, was charged with the robbery.
Mink is accused of entering the credit union with dark overalls and a mask covering his face. Authorities say Mink had a shot gun and demanding money from the tellers. He left after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.
