Posted: Updated:

A major accident at the Hardin County line on Highway 69 injured three people.  The accident happened around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Police say an SUV was attempting to turn into a private driveway when a car clipped it, causing the car to go in the on-coming lane of traffic.  The car hit another car head-on.

Emergency workers used the jaws of life to get the injured out of the wreckage.

Two people were taken by medical helicopter to Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth in Beaumont.  A third was taken by ambulance.

No one in the SUV was hurt.
