Lamar WR VanLawrence Franks is the only remaining walk-on that tried out for the team in 2009 and is now preparing to play his final home game.

He was in the top 10 in the SLC in kick returns in 2011..
The Austin native started his career at Grambling St. before transfering to Lamar. He has already graduated with a degree in criminal justice and hopes to go into law enforcement.
