Fall weather the next couple of days

Finally the weather is falling into line with the calendar as cool nights and sunny, dry days are expected across Southeast Texas.

Cloudiness across Southern Sections of Southeast Texas will gradually erode this evening as drier air moves into the area from the north.  Otherwise, cool temperatures are expected by the morning with lows ranging from the lower to middle 50s in the Triangle to the middle to upper 40s in the Lakes Area.  Light northeasterly winds will turn towards the north tonight and may even become calm allowing temperatures drop.

Friday will be a gorgeous day with sunny skies, warm temperatures and low humidity - certainly would be a great day to be off!  It will however, be a difficult day to dress the kids as there will be a wide range in the temperature forecast.  Here's what I mean...we'll start out on a chilly note and then warm into the lower 80s by the mid-afternoon hours.  Sunny skies are expected with humidity values in the 20 percentile.  North to northwesterly winds are forecasted.

The Friday Night Football Forecast looks great with clear skies, light winds but you may want to take a jacket as temperatures will fall through the 60s and may approach the upper 50s to lower 60s by the end of the game.

Saturday will be super weather with sunny skies again forecasted.  We'll start out quite chilly with lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s with afternoon high temperatures in the middle 80s.  Again, very low humidity values are expected.  Light easterly winds during the morning will turn back around to the south as cold high pressure moves off.

Sunday, humidity values will be on the rise, but skies will remain sunny to mostly sunny.  Lows will only drop into the lower to middle 60s as moisture values increase.  Afternoon high temperatures are expected to warm into the middle 80s.  Breezy southerly winds off the Gulf of Mexico will return.

By Monday, it back to air conditioning as humidity levels will become quite uncomfortable.  Still, dry weather conditions will persist with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies expected.  Low temperatures will be in the upper 60s with afternoon high temperatures in the middle 80s.  Breezy southerly winds will continue.

Tuesday, little change expected with warm, humid, dry weather conditions persisting.  Morning cloudiness will give way to mostly sunny skies during the afternoon.  Low temperatures will be in the middle 60s with afternoon high temperatures in the middle 80s.  Southerly winds are forecasted.

Wednesday, again little change is expected.  Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are forecasted with no rain in sight.  Low temperatures will be in the middle 60s with afternoon highs in the middle 80s.  South to southeasterly winds are expected.

You guessed it!  Little change as this stagnant weather pattern continues with no rainfall, above-normal temperatures and high humidity.  Partly cloudy to partly sunny skies are forecasted with lows in the middle 60s and highs in the middle 80s.  South to southeasterly winds are again expected.
