Teen arrested after drug discovery

Orange County Sheriff's Deputies have a 17-year-old in custody after finding a large amount of cash and 2 pounds of marijuana.

On Wednesday, August 15, 2012, around 1:50 p.m., Orange County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Nicholas Tano Caldera, 17, of Vidor, charging him with delivery of marijuana and marijuana possession.

Undercover investigators say they were able to buy drugs from Caldera at his home in the 900 block of Roberts St. in Vidor.  Consent to search the residence was given to Investigators and approximately 2 pounds of marijuana was found.   There were 43 individually wrapped bags of marihuana officers say was for the purpose of distribution. The marijuana has a street value of $2,500.

Caldera was arrested and taken to the Orange County jail.  His bond is set at $20,000.
