Pot farm suspects held on $150,000 bond each

Posted: Updated:

Tyler County authorities Saturday released the names of two men arrested in the case of the massive pot farm found in Tyler County Thursday.

A sheriff's office spokesperson says both men arrested Thursday are named Mario Vasquez.   Both men are being held in the Tyler County Jail on $150,000 bond for charges of possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture and deliver.

Tyler County Chief Deputy Clint Sturrock tells 12News he anticipates making more arrests soon.

The plantation was discovered just east of Hillister in southern Tyler County.

Authorities say 4,700 plants were found off of CR 4380 with some plants grown to more that eight feet high.

A DEA informant led investigators to the pot farm.
