Chilly tonight with lows in the mid 30s in the Lakes to near 40 in the Triangle.  abundant high cloudiness is expected.  North to northeasterly winds are forecasted.

Saturday, an upper-level disturbance will keep high cloudiness over the area with a 20% coverage of very light rain mainly along the coast.  Highs will be in the middle to upper 50s.  Light northeasterly winds will turn towards the east.

Sunday, mostly cloudy skies are forecasted.  Lows will be in the lower to middle 40s with highs in the lower 60s.  Light east to southeasterly winds are forecasted.

Monday, a 20% coverage of light rain is expected with mostly cloudy skies.  Lows will be in the middle 50s with highs in the upper 60s.  Easterly winds are forecasted.

A warm front will lift northwards out of the Gulf of Mexico Monday Evening.

Tuesday, rain chances go up to a 30% coverage.  Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are forecasted.  Lows will be near 60 with highs in the middle 70s.  Windy south to southeasterly winds will gust to 25 mph.

Wednesday, a cold front will drive through the area with a 50% coverage of rain and thunderstorms around noon.  Decreasing cloudiness is expected during the afternoon hours.  Lows will be in the middle 60s with highs in the lower to middle 70s.  Southwesterly winds will shift towards the northwest during the afternoon.

Thursday, increasing cloudiness is expected with a 30% coverage of rain developing late.  Lows will be in the upper 40s with highs in the middle 60s.  Northeasterly winds will turn back around to the southeast.

Thursday night, a warm front will lift northwards out of the Gulf of Mexico.

Friday, a 50% coverage of rain and thunderstorms is expected.  Lows will be in the lower 60s with highs in the lower 70s.  Southwesterly winds will shift to the northwest with the frontal passage.
