Beaumont Hall of Fame

New names have been added to the Hall of Fame.

The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted its 22nd Annual Hall of Fame dinner Thursday.

This year's big award went to Mr. Charlie Gibbs who the C.V.B. says has shown extreme dedication to enhancing tourism in Beaumont.

The Hall of Fame reception honored the 51-citizens who hosted meetings, reunions, sports events and conferences in Beaumont over the last year. In 2011, 126 organizations said "yes" to Beaumont and the C.V.B. hosted 149 different events. 64.191 delegates were welcomed to the city.
