(CBS) - Nathan's hot dog eating contest is a beloved and filling fourth of July tradition, but before the eating, there's the weigh-in.
Four-time Hot Dog Eating World Champion Joey Chestnut and women's record holder Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas took part in the official weigh-in ceremony at New York City Hall Park as Mayor Michael Bloomberg looked on.
Both contestants say they're hungry for more wins. This is the first time the contest will have a women's division.
And to make things even more interesting, Coney Island's new amusement park, The Scream Zone, will offer competitors free rides on its sling shot, if they can stomach it.
