The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says deputies seized a large amount of cocaine after they pulled over an 18-wheeler for having defective mudflaps and noticed the driver acting suspiciously.
The truck's driver told the deputies they could search the truck, where they discovered more than 70 pounds of cocaine in the sleeping compartment.
The deputies arrested the truck's drive and a passenger for aggravated possession of controlled substance.
The driver was identified as 37-year-old Shawn Maurice Eaglin and his passenger was identified as 39-year-old Todd Jabber Fisher, both of Houston.
Both men told deputies they worked for Hill's Trucking in Houston, but Fisher told authorities he was only along for the ride.
Both are in jail on bonds of $1,000,000 each.
