A scary moment for a former Kountze standout. Baylor starting cornerback Grayland Arnold was taken off the field on a stretcher early in the first quarter against Texas.
The injury occurred on a kickoff following a Bear touchdown. Arnold was able to move his arms and legs and gave a thumbs up to the crowd while exiting the field. He was taken directly to a university hospital nearby.
The freshman had a CT scan and MRI, the results were negative. Eighth-ranked Baylor eventually lost the game, 35-34
