LCM Cross Country team heads to state

Bears qualify as a team for the first time

ORANGE - For the first time in school history, LCM has qualified their entire boys cross country team for the state meet coming up this weekend in Round Rock.

The Bears are led by Eli Peveto, who finished third at the regional meet in Huntsville. 

Jackson Beaza finished 12th, Blake Kresser 19th, Rayce Piper was 23rd and Braden Bridges finished 59th, among the Bears scoring points for the team.

Trevor Turner and Stephen Kursk also competed for LCM, who were third as team in regionals.

The boys 4A race will be Saturday morning at 10:20 am at Old Settler's Park.
