Vidor blanks Pasadena Memorial

The Pirates left Pasadena Thursday night with a big win.

Coming off a tough 40-6 loss at home to Barbers Hill to open the season, the Vidor Pirates defense pitched a shutout in a 21-0 win over Pasadena Memorial. 

VIdor got the scoring started in the first quarter with 12 yard touchdown from Haylon Leckelt. After that Maverick Quirante doomed the Class 6A Mavericks with a pair of TD runs.

Vidor (1-1) will open district play next week at Central. Pasadena Memorial (1-1) will continue non-district play at Aldine.
