Port Arthur Memorial disposed of Baytown Sterling 42-0 in Stallworth Stadium to keep pace in district 21-5A. With the win the Titans (5-3, 3-1) remain in a second place tie with La Porte. Next up for Memorial is a huge rivalry game with West Brook in Port Arthur.
Over at the Thomas Center Central punched their ticket to the postseason with a 64-12 blowout of Livingston. The Jaguars improve to (5-3, 3-1) under first-year head coach Toby Foreman. Central will travel to LC-M next week for a battle of 20-4A second place teams.
