Clay Davis promoted to head coach at HJ

Longtime Hardin-Jefferson assistant coach Clay Davis has been named the new head boys basketball coach at Hardin-Jefferson replacing Todd Sutherland, who resigned last week to become head coach at East Chambers.  Davis has been an assistant with the Hawks the last 10 years and was part of their state championship team in 2007 and their state semi-finalist team in 2009.   He also won a championship with the Hawks as a player in 1991.    Davis has also been a head coach at Tatum and Jasper.
