The gaming console war is officially underway again after Microsoft's Xbox One hit shelves at midnight Friday.
Sony's Playstation Four got a head start. It was released last week.
The Xbox One is Microsoft's next generation console. It's first since the 2005 release of the Xbox 360 and it comes with a $500 price tag.
It comes with updated graphics and game play. and it's beefed up hardware gives gamers the ability to switch between games, television and internet browsing making the Xbox One a formidable opponent to Sony's PS4.
Sony sold 1 million units within 24 hours during it's launch last week.
But analysts say demand for the Xbox One could help Microsoft match, if not pass, those numbers.
