While Kanye talks wedding plans, Kim K. plans to take his name

By Breeanna Hare

There's no such thing as arrogance for Kanye West when it comes to love and romance.

The 36-year-old rapper admitted to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Tuesday that he was nervous before proposing to his fiancee, Kim Kardashian, on her 33rd birthday.

"I'm not arrogant about love and feelings at all. I'm confident about the work that I put so much work into, but this is someone else's feelings. You never know what someone might feel. I just knew that I wanted her to be my girl for a long time."

West has shared that the plan is to hold the wedding next summer, and he does intend to take part in orchestrating the ceremony.

While he told Seacrest that he wants to be "very involved," perhaps tapping "the people who do the Chanel shows," West isn't thinking quiet and docile.

"I only got two words in my mind so far, as far as ideas for the wedding go," he told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 radio earlier this week. "That's fighter jets."

If that's what West ends up settling on, his soon-to-be-bride is more than happy to let it fly.

"As far as wedding stuff, we haven't even talked about anything, it's been such a whirlwind," Kardashian told E!. "We need like a moment to relax and figure it all out," she said. "I'm going to leave this up to him. Whatever he wants."

One thing she has decided is whether or not she'll take West's last name.

"I will," she told E!. "Kim Kardashian West, (no) hypen. Make (Kardashian) the middle."
