WB Bruin state record still stands

In 1994, the West Brook Bruins set a Texas state record in the 1600 M relay with a time of 3:08.55 in the 5a regional final.  It still stands today.   The Bruins won the state track championship that year led by Marlon Ramsey, who also won the 400 M individual gold medal.  Chris Price, Mike Landry and Raymond Sutton joined him on the relay team.  The Bruins also picked up points from Lance Pollard, who finished second in the shot put.  Coach Arthur Louis is still amazed that the record stands today.
