Update: Bond set for tenant accused of shooting landlord

A spokesperson for the Orange County Correctional Facility told 12News News that bond for a man accused of shooting his landlord is set at $100,000.

Terry Lee Koelliker, 63, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting happened just before 9 a.m. Saturday at a trailer park in the 3300 block of Elk Drive in Orangefield. 

Orange County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Clint Hodgkinson told 12News the victim, Clinton Tony Fusilier, 69, of Bridge City, was checking on property at the trailer park he owns. Hodgkinson says the suspect, Terry Lee Koelliker, 63, approached Fusilier with a shotgun then shot him during an altercation. According to Hodgkinson, Fusilier was struck by pellets on the side of his head and neck.

When deputies arrived on scene, Fusilier was being taken to Baptist Hospital-Orange.  Deputies say he was later taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. He is expected to survive.

Deputies believes Saturday's altercation stemmed from a previous dispute.
