Two robbed during Sunday-evening walk, Port Arthur police say

Two people who say they were out for an Sunday evening walk are uninjured after police say the pair was robbed at gunpoint in the 8600 block of Honeywood Trail.

A news release issued by the Port Arthur Police Department says the robbery happened at 9:40 p.m. The victim said a man asked to borrow a phone, then pulled out a handgun and demanded cash.

The robber fled on foot with the victim's cash and cell phone.

Police on Monday morning say they have not yet made an arrest.
