Tropical Storm Patty forms east of Florida

Tropical Storm Patty has formed off the tail end of a decaying frontal boundary this Thursday afternoon. It is currently a minimal tropical storm with winds at 40 mph and currently stationery.

The storm will resume a southwestward track and expected to dissipate by Friday evening.

Another wave, east of the Caribbean has a 50% chance of intensification.
