The Vidor Independent School District will vote Monday night on whether or not to terminate two teachers who have been suspended with pay amid accusations of '"inappropriate conduct" with students.
According to the Vidor ISD website, the school board will vote on the proposed termination and suspension without pay for Chad and Sondra Reed.
This is the first time their names have been released.
The school district has still not explained the nature of the inappropriate conduct.
However, Vidor ISD Superintendent Dr. Jay Killgo said that last month he received a letter and photo on his desk that was used as evidence for the suspensions.
Supt. Killgo told 12News the Vidor ISD police department and the Vidor police department are investigating.
The district website says Sondra Reed is employed at Oak Forest elementary and Chad Reed is employed at Vidor Junior High.
The board will meet in executive session and then take action in open session.
The meeting begins at 6.
