School weather delays

Some Southeast Texas schools have opted to delay the start of school due to expected weather conditions. This page will be updated as school officials notify 12News.

Here are the school schedule changes that have been announced so far:

BUNA ISD - Buna ISD will close school Tuesday due to loss of power.  Classes will resume Wednesday, March 5th.

BROOKELAND ISD: Start of classes delayed until 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Buses will run 2 hours late and breakfast will not be served. Lunch will be served at the normal time.

BURKEVILLE ISD - Classes start at 10 a.m.

COLMESNEIL ISD - Will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 4

JASPER ISD: Students report at 10 a.m., Staff report at 9 a.m.

LEGGETT ISD: School canceled for Tuesday

NEWTON ISD- Staff to report at 9:30 and students in at 10.

SPURGER ISD - Teachers and staff to report at 9:30 a.m. and students to report at 10 a.m. March 4

WARREN ISD - Classes will start at 10 a.m.

WEST HARDIN CCISD - Classes will start at 10:30 a.m.

WOODVILLE ISD - School superintendent Glen Conner told 12News that all classes will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday.  School officials will monitor the weather and announce any other changes if needed.
