Police in Orange search house for drugs, make arrests

Four people from Orange and one from Beaumont are facing charges after police say they found them with cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs over the weekend.

Phillip Angelle, 34; Howard Waxter, 51; Demarcus Gilmore, 30 and Markee Hudson, 30; all of Orange were arrested along with Jose Torres, 48 of Beaumont, Saturday at a house in the 1500 block of Scholars in Orange. Officers say they were executing a narcotics search warrant at the home when they found all five with drugs in their possession.

Officers say they confiscated around 5 grams of crack cocaine, 2 grams of marijuana, 1 Xanax, and approximately $4500 in cash.

Angelle is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Felony 3 (Cocaine)

Waxter is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance - Felony 3 (Cocaine) Possession of Marijuana - Misdemeanor B.

Gilmore is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor A (Xanax.)

Hudson is charged with Possession of Marijuana – Misdemeanor B.

Torres is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – State Jail Felony (Cocaine.)
