Not guilty verdict returned in intoxication manslaughter case

A woman accused of intoxication manslaughter in the 2011 death of a bicyclist has been found not guilty.

The jury returned the not guilty verdict in the trial of Christy Renee Arceneaux on Friday.

According to 12News file stories, Carol Lewis Singleton was riding her bike in the 300 block of South M.L.K. Parkway in Beaumont on August 3, 2011 when she was hit by Arceneaux's 2003 Toyota.
