New Orleans duo arrested for Orange County drugs

A traffic stop led to a drug bust in Orange County Thursday morning night.

A deputy stopped a car on Interstate 10 east around 12:15 and noticed the driver was nervous.

The deputy then searched the vehicle to find 400 grams of cocaine wrapped in duct tape and plastic hidden in the trunk.

29-year-old Tyronne Gillin and 23-year-old Erica Patin, both of New Orleans, were arrested.

During the booking process, Patin was found with 67 illegally possessed prescription pills hidden under her clothes in plastic. Both have been charged.

Gillin's bond is set at $50,000 and Patin's bond at $51,000.
